I’ve compiled a listing of the various hobby blogs I’ve encountered around the web. It’s far from exhaustive – there’s bound to be more out there I haven’t found yet – but it’s a start. Let this be a useful starting point for you, since these days search engines are getting less and less useful for finding anything that doesn’t have an advertising budget behind it.
This list is also downloadable as an OPML file, which can be easily be imported into most feed readers.
Blogroll
- Big Geordie Geek
- Bit of a mixture of Warhammer 40k minis, boardgames and some computer games.
- Just Add Water
- A long running blog focused on historical wargaming. Also has a long list of other blogs shared in the sidebar.
- Lonely Gamers Blog
- Lots of battle reports, primarily for historical war-gaming (this site also seems to be a shop selling historical minis).
- Wyrd Fish
- Infrequently updated, but often full of interesting thoughts and news about hobby communities on the Fediverse
- Yet Another Dropzone, Commander?
Link Submission
If you know of any other hobby blogs, please submit them so that I can add them to the catalogue. To be considered for inclusion a blog must meet the following criteria:
- It must be related to miniature painting, terrain making or tabletop war-gaming in some way.
- There must be a working RSS feed.
- The contents of the blog must not be overly commercial.
